Windows produced by R&D Manufacturing are made under licence using profiles supplied by Veka Plc, one of the largest UK suppliers of extruded Pvc who products are both BSI and BBA approved. All window manufacture is guaranteed for ten years from date of purchase against product defect. Double glazed units are purchased through St Gobain, Europe’s largest supplier of products to the construction industry. The double glazed units are produced locally ensuring rapid response to emergency supply and each unit is guaranteed against premature failure for a period of five years. Windows can be manufactured as casement, tilt and turn or simply deadlights depending upon your requirements and a various range of glazing type can be fitted as circumstances or safety issues dictate. For your information we have also enclosed basic instructions on cleaning new glass windows and a full specification of our windows in pdf format for your attention. Doors. Similar to our windows all upvc for manufacture is supplied by Veka Plc. At this time we are currently undertaking a programme of change that will eventually see all of the Group’s housing external doors fitted as upvc. All external doors and patio doors are fitted with Yale locks ensuring peace of mind with security issues. Thresholds are also low to allow for ease of access to all and all doors can be specified with a range of glass type to suit individual taste. Conservatories.
